Oxidized by oxygen in the air when heating and transformed into tungsten oxychloride or tungsten oxide.
Used in tungsten plating by vapour phase deposition, making single crystal tungsten wire, glass surface conductive layer and olefin polymerization catalyst. Used in the purification of tungsten and organic synthesis. Applied in agriculture (Pesticide Intermediates), chemical, petroleum catalyst, intelligent glass and Plastic industries etc.
