1. Purpose, Scope, and Document Priority
This Disclaimer applies to general educational and informational product descriptions, specifications, technical articles, application examples, images, tables, downloadable files, and other technical or scientific information provided by MKnano, a division of M K Impex Corp., through the Website.
It supplements, and does not replace, applicable Terms and Conditions, quotations, order acknowledgments, product labels, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Technical Data Sheets (TDS), Certificates of Analysis (COA), agreed specifications, or other binding written agreements.
If general Website content differs from current product-specific documentation, the current document takes precedence within its stated scope. Applicable law and mandatory requirements take priority. Binding transaction documents and expressly agreed specifications govern the transaction; the current product label and applicable SDS take precedence for hazard and safety information; the current TDS applies to technical information within its stated scope; and a COA applies only to the identified lot and reported tests. Contact MKnano before use when clarification is needed.
2. Product Use and Restricted Applications
Many MKnano products are supplied for research, laboratory, academic, engineering, industrial, manufacturing, or other professional applications. Intended use and restrictions vary by product, grade, form, concentration, destination, and applicable law. Do not assume that every product has the same permitted use.
Where a product is identified for research use, laboratory evaluation, or another limited purpose, that restriction must be followed unless the customer has independently established that another use is lawful, validated, and appropriately documented.
References to medical, dental, pharmaceutical, diagnostic, veterinary, food, feed, cosmetic, agricultural, environmental, or other regulated fields describe reported research or application areas only. They do not mean that a specific MKnano product is approved, sterile, biocompatible, clinical-grade, medical-grade, pharmaceutical-grade, food-grade, or suitable for use in or on humans or animals.
Regulated or safety-critical use must not be based solely on Website information or general application examples. Before any such use, the customer must complete an application-specific risk assessment, testing, validation, and qualification; obtain required professional and regulatory approvals; and confirm that the exact product, grade, lot, label, SDS, TDS, and specification satisfy applicable requirements. Terms such as research grade, industrial grade, or high purity describe only stated material characteristics and do not establish regulatory status or suitability for a particular end use.
3. Technical Information and No Professional Advice
Information concerning purity, particle size, size distribution, morphology, surface area, concentration, functionalization, structure, and electrical, thermal, optical, magnetic, mechanical, or other properties is provided according to its stated context. Unless expressly agreed in writing, values may be typical, target, nominal, approximate, representative, range-based, literature-derived, or lot-specific rather than guaranteed specifications.
A typical value is not necessarily a minimum, maximum, acceptance criterion, or warranty. Results may vary with sampling, sample preparation, test method, instrument, calibration, calculation, and laboratory conditions. Category-level information and representative images may not apply to every grade or lot.
Website information is provided for general educational purposes and does not constitute application-specific engineering, scientific, formulation, process-design, medical, occupational health, industrial hygiene, transportation, environmental, regulatory, intellectual-property, safety, or legal advice. Users should obtain advice from appropriately qualified professionals for their circumstances.
4. Performance, Application Examples, and Suitability
Actual product behaviour and performance depend on factors such as grade, lot, purity, particle characteristics, concentration, dispersion quality, formulation, substrate, surface preparation, equipment, processing, storage, temperature, pressure, load, atmosphere, exposure time, test method, and user methodology.
Application examples, technical discussions, published papers, patents, and third-party studies are illustrative only. They may involve different materials, grades, suppliers, formulations, test methods, or controlled conditions. Unless expressly stated, MKnano does not represent that it conducted or independently verified the third-party work, and that work does not establish that an MKnano product will produce the same result.
Customers are responsible for determining suitability for their intended use through appropriate compatibility testing, performance testing, safety assessment, process validation, and regulatory review. Evaluation should begin with a controlled laboratory or pilot trial before scale-up, production use, or commercial release.
MKnano does not guarantee conductivity, strength, thermal response, dispersion quality, coating performance, wear reduction, biological response, service life, production yield, or any other application result unless an authorized written agreement expressly states otherwise.
5. Safety, Handling, Storage, Transportation, and Disposal
Nanomaterials and other advanced materials may require product-specific handling procedures, exposure controls, storage conditions, transportation classifications, and disposal methods. Before handling or using a product, review the current product label and applicable SDS.
For activities under their control, customers are responsible for workplace and process risk assessment, personnel training, suitable facilities, engineering controls, work practices, personal protective equipment, compatibility review, emergency planning, spill prevention, storage, transportation, and lawful disposal.
The Website is not a substitute for a workplace-specific health and safety program, exposure assessment, emergency plan, transport determination, or professional industrial hygiene review. Customers that formulate, repackage, relabel, resell, import, export, transport, or supply products downstream must determine and meet the obligations applicable to those activities.
Nothing in this Disclaimer transfers or removes a legal duty that applicable law places on MKnano or another party. Each party remains responsible for its non-waivable obligations.
6. SDS, TDS, COA, and Other Product Documentation
Product documentation may include an SDS, TDS, product specification, COA, characterization report, certificate, or other record, depending on the product and transaction.
An SDS provides hazard communication and related safety information for the identified product, but it does not replace a workplace or process-specific risk assessment. A TDS or product specification may contain typical, target, or agreed values; only a clearly identified and authorized written specification should be treated as a contractual requirement. A COA reports selected results for the stated product and lot only and does not certify application performance or regulatory approval.
Customers should confirm the product name, grade, concentration, lot, document revision date, test method, and scope before relying on a document. Website summaries and documents for another product or lot must not be treated as substitutes for current documentation for the purchased material.
7. Regulatory Compliance and International Use
Customers are responsible for determining and complying with the local, provincial, territorial, state, federal, national, and international requirements applicable to their purchase, import, export, transportation, storage, processing, formulation, distribution, sale, and end use.
Applicable requirements may concern chemical substance inventories and notifications, workplace hazard communication, dangerous goods or hazardous materials transportation, environmental releases and waste, customs and trade controls, worker protection, and regulated or safety-critical end uses. Website information alone is not a basis for qualifying a product for a regulated or safety-critical application.
Unless MKnano expressly confirms otherwise in an authorized written document, MKnano does not represent that a product is registered, approved, cleared, certified, licensed, or permitted for a specific jurisdiction or end use. Website access, product availability, or acceptance of an order does not by itself establish that an activity is lawful in the customer's location.
8. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability
Except for an express written warranty or agreed specification that applies to a transaction, the Website and Technical Information are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MKnano disclaims implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, and uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MKnano will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential losses arising from access to, use of, or reliance on general Website information. Product-related claims and remedies are also governed by the applicable quotation, order documents, Terms and Conditions, binding agreement, and law.
Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence where non-excludable, death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited, or breach of a mandatory statutory duty.
9. Third-Party Information and Intellectual Property
External links, published papers, patents, standards, databases, supplier documents, and other third-party resources are provided for context or convenience. Unless expressly stated, MKnano does not control, endorse, sponsor, or independently verify them. Users should review the original source, current version, limitations, and applicable terms.
A reference to third-party research does not mean that MKnano conducted the work, that the tested material is identical to an MKnano product, or that a use is free from third-party intellectual-property rights.
Unless otherwise stated, Website text, images, graphics, tables, documents, page designs, and branding are owned by or licensed to MKnano or M K Impex Corp. and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Website access does not grant a patent, trademark, copyright, trade-secret, manufacturing, or other licence. Reasonable internal use for product evaluation is permitted, but republication, sale, misleading modification, or use suggesting endorsement requires prior written permission.
10. Updates, Acceptance, and Contact
Products, specifications, analytical methods, technical knowledge, regulatory requirements, and Website content may change. MKnano may correct, revise, replace, or remove Website information without prior notice, subject to applicable law and binding agreements. Corrections may be made after publication. Users should confirm that they are relying on the current page and current product documents.
By accessing or continuing to use the Website, users acknowledge this Disclaimer, subject to applicable law and any non-waivable rights. Users who do not accept it should not rely on the Website for product selection, safety, regulatory, engineering, or commercial qualification decisions.
